Food rich in protein: this Arhar Dal Khichdi is packed with nutrients, cook it in 20 minutes

Arhar dal khichdi is one of the things we eat from childhood. This food is comforting and high in protein, which gives you the protein you need.
Here is Arhar Dal Khichdi’s recipe | Recipe by Dal Khichdi
To make arhar dal khichdi you will need basmati rice, arhar dal, ghee, heeng, coriander seeds and salt to taste.

First, wash and soak the rice for at least an hour and a half. Then heat some ghee in a heavy-bottomed saucepan and add the cumin and heeng. After heating, add the rice and dal mixture and sauté over high heat until the mixture is mixed and the excess water dries up. Add the coriander powder and salt and mix well.
To this, add two quarters of a cup of water and bring to a boil. Cover the pot with a lid and cook for 10 minutes. By then your khichdi will be ready and you can enjoy it by adding a spoonful of ghee from above!
