Stavis Seafoods promotes three to director positions

Boston, Massachusetts – Stavis Seafoods, a multinational fishing company and seafood manufacturer, today announced the promotion of three employees to director positions as the company expands capabilities across multiple channels to better meet customer needs growing. Jessica Holmes, sales veteran of Stavis Seafoods, who previously served as sales manager, has been promoted to sales manager, while retail sales veteran Todd Rushing has been promoted from retail sales manager to sales manager Retail and Lori Smallwood has been promoted from Director of Logistics to Director of Logistics. Each promotion is an integral part of the Stavis leadership team.

Holmes, who has been with Stavis for over 15 years, will focus on driving sales in traditional businesses and managing the overall sales team effort. She joined Stavis as a Sales Account Manager and has experience with all types of customers and channels that Stavis serves. Prior to joining Stavis, she was Director of Operations for Manomet Lobster Pound. Her experience also includes operational and restaurant management positions with Curves for Women and Outback Steakhouse.

In his new role, Rushing will identify opportunities in retail sales and drive the overall growth of the retail channel. Todd has decades of retail and marketing experience including serving as Senior Technical Seafood Specialist at Hello Fresh, Senior Vice President of Retail Sales at International Marketing Specialists and held sales positions. at Eastern Fish, Berdex Seafood and ConAgra Foods. Rushing also founded and served as CEO of ShrimpTrader, Inc.

Smallwood will be responsible for overseeing the logistics of Stavis Seafoods’ global supply chain, including operations at the two Massachusetts facilities and with parent company, Profand Group, located in Vigo, Spain. Prior to joining Stavis, Smallwood was responsible for the purchasing and import supply chain for Aqua-Leisure Industries as well as Newell Brands. She also served as COO at Cool Gear and was Managing Director of Aqua-Leisure / Greyland Trading, Hong Kong.
